In Remembrance
"I had originally intended to paint the Last Supper. As I planned my painting, I researched the location, the traditions of the Passover, the food presented, the seating arrangement, etc. I eventually realized that I did not want to paint the Last Supper, I wanted an entirely different painting. I wanted to paint about how that last supper of Christ relates to us. I wanted to paint the Sacrament. Hopefully this can help remind us of its meaning and importance"
